Hitachi Home & Life Solutions will release "The PRO FREEZER!" refrigerators which support home networks, beginning in November.

By combining the fridge with PC and communication adapter set, services such as fridge/freezer status confirmations, timer functions, operating change, utility expense aim and door open/close count can be used. These services are offered to registered members for a cost.

The lineup consists of three products: the twin-door type 465 and 416 liters, and the 415 liter single-door type. They include the "Triple Fresh Freezing" system which will drop the temperature to -40 degrees Celsius, tripling the freshness retention. They are Open Price.
