QR CODE
zmcnulty

A QR code is a type of "two dimensional" barcode, that resembles the scatter plots used by America's UPS on a daily basis. However, QR codes are much more advanced - according to Qrcode.com, UPS scatter plots can hold only 28 characters, while QR codes can hold 128. Furthermore, QR codes have built in error recovery, meaning that even if up to 30% of the code is damaged, the algorithm used to decode the information can still output the missing data.

Today, QR codes in Japan are readable by most new cellular phones. The codes themselves store data such as web addresses, contact information, and physical addresses. With au's integration of QR codes and EZ Navi Walker, users could scan a QR code using their camera phone and a destination would automatically be set so that they could follow walking directions to that location.
QR code technology is rapidly emerging as an effective way to encode textual information into a machine-readable graphical representation. New uses for QR codes are being found on a daily basis.
