Seiko Watch is the first company to offer a watch that uses electronic paper technology. Save your money; this o­ne costs more than $2,000 USD.

Seiko Epson will release a limited-edition colour model of their "Colorio me:" direct printer, the "Colorio me: Pink" (E-100P) on 12 November. Only 7000 units will be available.

You may remember that TechJapan reported on the E-100, which was designed by an all-female project tearm, a few months ago.

How big is A4? I don't know either. Still, this PC isn't much taller than a bottle of water, and about as thick, so A4 must be pretty small.

No DivX/XviD unfortunately.

Still, the 640 x 480 screen is nice.

Seiko Epson has developed the world's largest OLED (organic light-emitting diode) display panel, 40 inches across the diagonal. Production is expected to commence in 2007.

Seiko Epson and Sanyo announced today that they will form a new company to go after the small/medium LCD display industry.

I first thought this was just being marketed at women, but no - it was completely designed by "Team8," an all-woman project team specifically created by Epson for this project.

Seiko/Epson Inc, will release the "PMPTIR1" CF card for their PM-860PT printer on July 19th. The CF card provides an infrared interface so that users may print images, et. al directly from their cellular phones. The price will be 7,500 yen.
