Another bed-related accident this week, as Jun from Kanagawa apparently crunched his phone as he woke up in the morning. What a way to start the day.    Victim: Jun of Kanagawa Prefecture Scene of Accident: Under the bed in my room Broken Item: Vodafone J-SH53 Details of Accident: For the first time in a while, I managed to get out of bed early. The night before, I put my phone on to charge, and had inadvertently left it sitting under my bed; I of course awoke in the morning not realizing this and heard a fantastic "crunch." When I took a look at it, the screen had magnificently bought the farm. Damage Amount: I bought a new handset, so with some other things, it came to about 15,000 yen. Quite an expense for a student. More from the Contributor: I'm not used to waking up early...this was a pretty cheap loss. From now on, I'll be charging my phone in a safer place.
