Liven up your desk with Kokuyo's new "Marimekko" series of brightly colored mice. They feature seamless buttons and various "textures," all of which seem to be associated with vegetation.

Marimekko is apparently a textile brand from Finland. OK.

Kokuyo S&T Corporation will release the "Texture Mouse <Marimekko>" mice on February 7th, which were designed by Finland's "Marimekko" textile brand. They are Open Price, but should cost around 4,500 yen.

The interface is USB 1.1. Supported operating systems are Windows 98, ME, 2000, and XP, as well as Mac OS 8.6 and above.

These are optical mice that use a design that represents "Marimekko." There are six design patterns: "Unikko," "Ruusupuu," "Kuuma," "Purimavera," "Kukkula," and "Mansikkavuoret."

Two buttons + a scroll wheel are furnished, and the mouse has a resolution of 800dpi. The cable length is 1.5m. The body size is 63 x 125 x 37mm (W x D x H), and the mice weigh about 96.8g each.
