Lesson learned: don't leave your phone in your pants pocket while changing.
Easier than that, actually: don't step on your pants while changing.

Victim: JHiloshi of Tokyo
Scene of Accident: Locker room at work
Broken Item: au A5502K
Details of Accident: So I was in the process of changing into my work clothes, when I accidentally stepped on my mobile phone that was in the pockets of the pants I had taken off. "Crunch," I heard, one of the worst sounds ever; I stopped my leg, but it was already too late. When I took it out, it looked like what you see above.
Damage Amount: I haven't heard back yet, so I don't know if it'll be a free repair or not, but I'm going to have au's insurance applied. So, at the most, it will be 5,250 yen. Good thing I chose au.
More from the Contributor: Well....you'd better quickly straigten up what you take off.... I used my mobile phone instead of having a watch, so the broken LCD really sinks in when I go to look at the time (lol). As sort of a follow-up, I have since received an A1402S, and I was surprised at the smallness, likely because I had gotten used to the A5502K. I thought it might be nice to get a mobile phone as "standard" as this next time, too.
