So you plug this USB thing into the destination computer, and it accesses the SASTIK server, which stores items such as e-mail, file data, address book, and bookmarks. Saslite has announced the USB memory type "SASTIK -OMB Reloaded," a "PC functionality portability" device, and will release it in early January at Yodobashi Camera as well as Nojima. The price is 1,980 yen (tax included). The SASTIK -OMB Reloaded is a "PC functionality portability device," in that by simply connecting it to the USB port of a PC connected to the internet, it allows for access to mail accounts, file data, address books, bookmarks, and so forth. When connected to the USB port, it will automatically connect to a server operated by Saslite, and will summon the different features as listed above, so that users have access to their files while outside of the home or office -- for example, while on a business trip or at an internet cafe. Furthermore, another feature of the device is the ability to trade ID data with another user of the same device, allowing for file sharing.
