This is what can happen if you leave things on the floor and don't turn on the light before you enter the room...

Victim:
"RYVIUS" from Tokyo
Scene of Accident:
Home
Broken Item:
NTT DoCoMo sigmarionIII and Corega CF-11
Details of Accident:
I was walking around the room without the light on when, all of a sudden, I heard a strange sound and felt an uncomfortable sensation run through my foot. Confused, I turned on the room's light and there was the sigmarion sandwiched sideways between the bottom of my foot and a magazine. I didn't see any external damage but the wireless LAN card was quite bent and, when I took a closer look, I saw that the screen was damaged and the keyboard was warped. The wireless LAN card was basically useless too.
Damage Amount:
Well both are bent so repairing them is probably impossible... When I bought them (last summer), the sigmarion was 45,000 yen and the wireless LAN card was about 4,000 yen.
More from the Contributor:
I'm a bit short on money so I can't buy a replacement for a while. However, next time I buy something like a PDA, I'll make sure I don't leave it on the floor, don't leave cards in the slot and turn the light on when I enter a room. (laughs)
