Competition in the mobile phone accessory market is fierce and Takara continues to lead from the front with the release of the "ChoroQ IR remote-control strap", a strap with an attached ChoroQ car that can be controlled using a mobile phone's IR communication function.

Takara Mobile Entertainment and PapaGino will begin sales of the "ChoroQ IR remote-control strap" from November 26. It will be priced at 1,764 yen.

The "ChoroQ IR remote-control strap" is a strap with an attached ChoroQ car that can be controlled using a mobile phone's IR communication function. Four types will be released - Subaru 360 (green), Nissan Fairlady Z [Z33] (sunset orange), Honda Fit (milano red) and Toyota Voxy (silver metallic). The car is controlled by a i-appli that can be downloaded free-of-charge from the "iChoroQ" i-mode site. Using infra-red communication, the car can move in 2 directions - forward or reverse turn.

In addition, for mobile phones without infra-red capability, a tyre-shaped auxiliary controller is also included.
