Here's a DDI Pocket phone being stepped on. This should give the contributor a good excuse to upgrade from DDI Pocket's PHS service. It's just so...1992.

[1]
Victim: Ochoppe of Tokyo
Scene of Accident: Japanese-style room in my house
Broken Item: DDI Pocket H-SA2001V
Details of Accident: I had put my H-SA3001V on top of some textbooks that I had scattered on top of my tatami mats, and since my room was pitch black, I didn't realize this and stepped right on it. I was about to slip and fall, but somehow I managed to stand again and was fine. However, under the weight of this large 70kg build I have, my cell phone was not fine. As you can see, the hinge got twisted.
Damage Amount: Since I can use the "Repair Assist Service," looks like it'll be taken care of at 2,000 yen.
More from the Contributor: I think the 2,000 yen repair cost is pocket change when compared to some of the repair costs coming from other contributors, but as I'm a high school student, I can't come up with the money that quickly. Maybe if I set aside my lunch money for next week I can afford it... But anyway, until then, it can still make calls and do e-mail. I'll just reinforce it with some tape and I'll be good to go.
