Not to be outdone by JVC, Sony has released a new series of retractable-cord, ear-clip headphones available in six colours. The headphones are designed to colour-coordinate with the MZ-E630 MD Walkman series.
Sony will begin sales of "MDR-Q36LW" retractable-cord, ear-clip headphones from 10 November. The headphones will be priced at 2415 yen.
The headphones are designed to colour-coordinate with the MZ-E630 MD Walkman series. They weigh approximately 42 grams and are available in six colours - silver, black, white, pink, blue and green.
The plug cord retracts with a simple press of the retract button. The headphones have a silent design that minimises the sound of cord pullout. The cord can be retracted, or its length adjusted, while attached to a remote control or portable audio device. It is made of a cloth-wrap material that minimises entanglement and is pleasant to touch. The cord length is 1 metre.
