This co-worker often spills drinks he puts on his desk - and this time around, he spilled coffee next beside his Vaio U. I told him "you should turn it off and send it for repairs," but he didn't listen. After leaving it alone for a day, he said he was able to use it - so he just continued to use it after that as if nothing had happened. But a month later, he spilled again. And then the machine didn't work anymore. Damage Amount: According to the estimate, a motherboard replacement would supposedly cost more than 150,000 yen, so he cancelled it. More From the Contributor: Because it's just going to be thrown away, I thought I'd submit it (to "THE CRASH!") disassembled. It's a bit hard to understand from the picture, but there's a couple pins on the motherboard's IC pins that are corroded. That's why I told him "you should send it in for repairs"....
