The Association for the Promotion of Digital Broadcasting announced on the 17th that they have reached a decision for the logo that is to be used on supported devices that began receiving digital broadcasts on December 1st.
This logo is to be used commonly on all devices supporting the ability to receive terrestrial digital broadcasts. As for the reason of choosing this logo, the Association has said, "In order to raise awareness of terrestrial broadcasting...and encouraging adoption." "We designed it to appeal to consumers who will be the viewers of this terrestrial digital broadcasting. We considered how we wanted to not only raise awareness of the technology, but also wanted to promote the technology."
A color version of the logo consists of blue markings on a white background, while the non-color version is black markings on a white background.

The logo will be used from now on in catalogues and such produced by the Association, and "{we} are actively working towards support from equipment manufacturers and shops."
