That's a pretty good amount of space for a USB keychain device. I didn't know they went up this high.

Buffalo Corporation will release the "RUF-C2GL/U2," a USB storage device with a 2GB capacity, in the first part of June. The price is 67,200 yen. Supported operating systems are Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, as well as Mac OS 9.0 ~ 9.2.2, and Mac OS X 10.1+.

The device is part of the new lineup of the "ClipDrive" USB storage series. It supports USB 2.0, and operates off bus power. The transfer speed, when using Buffalo's measurement, was 7.8MB/sec reading, and 4.8MB/sec writing.

A write protect switch is furnished on the unit, and it has protection against accidental erasure. Also, simple security software can be used while attempting to download from it.

The main body size is 73 x 17 x 10.8mm (W x D x H), and the weight is 12g.
