Two words: bling bling.

Tu-ka Cellular Tokyo and Tu-ka Cellular Tokai will release two limited edition models of Kyocera's thin-type "TK22" phone: "gold" and "silver" with aluminium faces. Sale will begin from the 19th in Tokai, and the 25th in Tokyo.

The "TK22" is a thin and light phone from Kyocera with a size of 92 x 48 x 15mm (H x W x T), and a weight of a mere 85g. Released in November of 2002, the phone does not have a camera, yet up to 7 color variations of the phone with this stylish body have been developed.

Both the "gold" and "silver" colors give the high-quality look of metal on all surfaces of the phone; the aluminium face panels are gold-plated or chrome-plated giving the phones a very high class appearance. Sales will be limited to 2,500 units at a time in Tokyo and 1,000 units at a time in Tokai. Furthermore, Tu-ka Phone Kansai will not be getting this phone. The price of the phone with a new contract is estimated to be around 10,000 yen.
