Thought I'd post this here, because there doesn't seem to be any other news today. This is all I've got for you so far. I'm probably going to go back and translate something from yesterday.
There is an exhibit currently going on at Japan's National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.

Apparently the + and - buttons were early experiments at what is currently an analog stick.

The exhibit is going on until May 29th, and costs 500 yen for adults to enter. From what I can tell in these pictures, most of the exhibit is also in English. So if you're stopping by Japan some time soon, and are interested in going, you can write a report for me!
