Only in Japan can a company announce a release date for a product as "in two days" and actually pull it off. NTT DoCoMo has decided on a release date for the Panasonic P252iS: Friday, April 16th. I reported on the P252iS [1] back on April 2nd; you should take a look at that article if you're interested in this phone.
NTT DoCoMo will release the smaller-sized "P252iS" i-Shot terminal on April 16th. There are five colors in the lineup.
The "P252iS" is an i-Shot phone from Panasonic Mobile Communications, and it has a 310,000 pixel CMOS camera on the back side. The design is similar to that of the "P900i," though this P252iS can fit in the palm of one's hand. It is equipped with two displays - the first a 1.9", 132 x 176 dot, 65,536 color TFT main display, the second a 1.1", 96 x 64 dot, 65,536 color TFT sub-display. It is furnished with easily pressable "Solid Body Modelled Keys," and features the "Glitter Mail" function which will light up an LED on the phone's body depending on certain emoticons used in received mails. It can also use miniSD cards.
The size is 87 x 46 x 26mm (H x W x T), and the weight is 95g. The available body colors are Pichi Pichi Peach, Puru Puru Apricot, Shuwa Shuwa Soda, Puchi Puchi Tomato, and Buru Buru Berry.
