Only in Japan can a company announce a release date for a product as "in two days" and actually pull it off.
NTT DoCoMo has decided o­n a release date for the Panasonic P252iS: Friday, April 16th.

NTT DoCoMo will release the smaller-sized "P252iS" i-Shot terminal o­n April 16th. There are five colors in the lineup.

The "P252iS" is an i-Shot phone from Panasonic Mobile Communications, and it has a 310,000 pixel CMOS camera o­n the back side. The design is similar to that of the "P900i," though this P252iS can fit in the palm of o­ne's hand. It is equipped with two displays - the first a 1.9", 132 x 176 dot, 65,536 color TFT main display, the second a 1.1", 96 x 64 dot, 65,536 color TFT sub-display. It is furnished with easily pressable "Solid Body Modelled Keys," and features the "Glitter Mail" function which will light up an LED o­n the phone's body depending o­n certain emoticons used in received mails. It can also use miniSD cards.

The size is 87 x 46 x 26mm (H x W x T), and the weight is 95g. The available body colors are Pichi Pichi Peach, Puru Puru Apricot, Shuwa Shuwa Soda, Puchi Puchi Tomato, and Buru Buru Berry.
