It's a digital camera, but resembles the old roller style reflex cameras. Even the two lenses, and the top-down viewfinder.

Komamura Corporation will release the miniature digital camera, the "MiniDigi," on May 21st. The price is 39,800 yen.

The design of the camera is made to be a representation of roller reflex cameras from the days of yore. Although the viewfiner is a 1.1 inch LCD display, when you look down into the camera, it acts as a waist-level finder.

Images taken by the camera are also square - 1280 x 1280 or 640 x 640. They are recorded to a SD memory card.

The lens has a fixed focus (0.5m - infinity), with a luminance of F2.8. Exposure and white balance are automatic.

The main body size is 49 x 45 x 73 (W x D x H), and it uses CR2 batteries.
