Sony will be releasing two new optical mice, both of which supposedly do not cause you to get tired of using them, even when it's for long periods of time. More information and pictures inside.
Sony Marketing will release two new optical mice on March 10th. There is the regular size "SMU-CL2," and the compact size "SMU-CM2" designed for usage with mobile computers. The mice have optical sensors, wheels, and utilize the USB interface. Each different model will be available in 6 colors: Matte Black, Matte White, Matte Violet, Matte Blue, Matte Pink, and Matte Yellow. The price for all of the units is "Open Price."
The new product uses a round body that will supposedly fit both left and right handed users. It also has the "Wide Wheel," for comfort purposes, and the mouse can be used for long periods without tiring the user. The mouse is also available in two different sizes, mathing the sizes of users' hands, so the needs of various users are supported.
Other characteristics include (1) the attractive matte color with silver buttons, (2) maintenance free optical sensor, (3)800dpi optical sensor to for easy cursor movement, (5) USB/PS2 compatibility (PS2 adapter is included), and finally (6) both Windows and Mac OSes are supported.
