This week, Massu puts his W-ZERO3 down in the wrong place.

Victim
Massu of Kanagawa Prefecture

Scene of Accident
On my desk in my house

Broken Item
Willcom W-ZERO3

Details of Accident
I won an early stage of the lottery, so I was happily using the W-ZERO3 as a modem at my house for about 40 minutes... apparently on top of my desk lamp. When I noticed, the battery cover was hot, and was all warped.

Repair Costs
A replacement for the melted battery cover would cost about 2,200 yen (plus 700 yen for shipping and handling).

More from the Contributor
I was happy that even though the temperature got quite high, there was no abnormal operation of the unit itself.
