Details of Accident
On January 15th, I went to my friend's house by bike. I received an email in from of his house, but when I went to look at by taking my V601SH out of my pocket, it slipped and fell into the gutter. The power was still on, so I backed stuff up to the memory card, removed the battery, and I warmed it up on my friend's table heater until I went home. Speaking of which, when I got home, I tried turning it on, but it didn't work. I took it into the shop, and they told me it would be cheaper to get a new handset than it would be to repair this one.

I figured I'd change to au, so I cancelled my V601SH contract and got a W33SA for au.

On January 19th, I was drinking some coffee in my living room while I was messing with my W33SA. I thought I'd go to the bathroom, and took my phone in my hand, but decided that it'd be safer to leave it as I didn't want to drop it in the john. But when I got back from the bathroom, my parents had spilled my coffee, and on my new phone! I tried to rescue my phone quickly, but it was too hot so ended up taking a dive in my coffee cup.

Repair Costs
2,700 yen contract cancellation fee + 27,000 yen cost of W33SA + ??? repair cost

....it turns on. But doesn't actually do anything. I'm thinking about going to the shop tomorrow. So early in the new year, two handsets in 1 week...
