Two new cases for your iPod nano from Focal Point Computers: the "PRIE ROBO for iPod nano" and "PRIE TUNETAG STUDS for iPod nano."

If you own an iPod nano, a case is certainly something you want.

Focal Point Computer Corporation released the "PRIE ROBO for iPod nano," a robot shaped iPod nano case, on January 11th. They also released the "PRIE TUNETAG STUDS for iPod nano," a nano case with studs, on the same day. They are listed as Open Price, but the direct sale price of either case is 3,480 yen.

Spring cords with clips at the end are attached to both sides of this case, similar to robot arms, giving this iPod nano case the appearance of a robot. The spring cords are arms, the clips are hands, and there are also charm-style feet.

If you were to attach the clips of the spring-cord arms to your pocket, you're able to make it so that "the iPod nano's face sticks out from your shirt pocket as though it were a robot."

Click wheel operation and LCD viewing are both possible while the iPod is inserted in the case. Besides the clear-type window, both the front and back of the unit are protected. A ring-hook is also available for attaching the case to your bag or belt.

This is a fashion case with chrome silver colored studs that will match either white or black iPod nanos. 22 studs surround the iPod nano. Focal said, "while the chrome silver studs will shimmer, they're designed to not be too tacky, so both men and women can use the case."

Like the PRIE ROBO, a clear window allows for confirmation of the LCD while still protecting it. The click wheel can also be used while the unit is still in its case. Furthermore, the earphone cable can be inserted and remove, the hold switch can still be operated, and the dock connector can still be accessed while it is in the case. A 20cm chain is also included, making attachment to a purse possible.
