Heavy Moon announced the "smartCharge" cigarette lighter recharging adapter for the iPod shuffle o­n December 1st. It is Open Price. At the company's own site, it costs 3,864 yen. The iPod shuffle is connected to the smartCharge, then by simply inserting it into a car's cigarette lighted, the iPod shuffle will begin recharging. It features a 3.5mm stereo audio jack, so that it can be connected to a car stereo via cassette adapter or line-in connector. Also, if a USB cable is used, the device can also be connected to a 4G iPod, iPod photo, or iPod mini.
