Greenhouse will release two new peripherals that are a perfect match for the Mac mini in early December - the "GH-MM-204SP" amplified speaker system and the "GM-MM-WF" external subwoofer system. Both products will retail for just under 10,000 yen.
Greenhouse announced the "GH-MM-204SP" amplified speaker system and the "GM-MM-WF" external subwoofer system for the Mac mini on 14 November. Both products will go on sale in early December are expected to retail for just under 10,000 yen.
The GH-MM-204SP is a speaker system with a 5W+5W internal amplifier. Used by simply connecting it to the Mac mini's stereo mini jack, the speaker system's lack of a front logo, LED treatment, back panel design and underside rubber feet faithfully echo the style of the Mac mini.
The speaker system also includes a 4-port USB2.0 hub (front - 2 ports, back - 2 ports). When used in conjunction with the Mac mini's USB ports, up to five devices can be connected simultaneously. External dimensions are 165W x 165D x 50H and weight is 710 grams. A 40 cm USB cable, audio cable and AC adapter are included.
The accompanying GH-MM-WF is a internally-amplified subwoofer system. It is connected to the GH-MM204SP's RCA jack for use and has a maximum output of 15W. External dimensions are 165W x 165D x 81H and weight is 1120 grams. A 40 cm RCA cable, AC adapter and power cable are included.
