Here's a nice looking new USB memory device from Buffalo that features an LCD screen that shows the device's remaining capacity and volume label. Buffalo announced on the 9th the "RUF2-LD" series of USB memory device that feature small LCD panels, and will release them in early December. They are Open Price. The RUF2-LD series are USB 2.0 memory devices that feature integrated LCD panels that can display the device's memory capacity and volume label, allowing the status of the device to be confirmed without even plugging it into a PC. In the lineup is the 256MB "RUF2-LD256M," and the 512MB "RUF2-LD512M." The size of the body is 25 x 13 x 82mm (W x D x H), and it weighs 20 grams. Supported operating systems are Windows 98, 98SE, Me, 2000, XP, and Mac OS X 10.3.9 and above.
