A bit slow on the news tonight, but here is a new series of USB hubs from Elecom that feature a compact body and LED illumination. Elecom announced on the 7th the "U2H-P4B" series of USB hubs that feature LED illumination, and will release them in late November. The price is 2,940 yen. The U2H-P4B series are 4-port USB 2.0 hubs that operate off of bus power. on the top surface of the hub is an LED that will shine when the unit is in use. Also, status lamps indicate the status of each port. The body size is 85 x 35 x 14mm (W x D x H), and it weighs 55 grams. Supported operating systems are Windows 98, 98SE, Me, 2000, XP, MacOS 8.6 ~ 9.x, and X (USB 1.1).
