Don't settle for some crappy plastic case for your iPod -- you payed a lot of money for it! That's why Electron Bird has introduced an iPod and iPod mini case line that uses Vachetta leather [1] from Italy.

Bird Electron has announced iPod cases that use soft "Vachetta leather." There are two type available: "CP-001" for the iPod mini, and "CP-102" for the iPod. The respective prices are 9,800 yen, and 12,000 yen.

The products use a soft Vachetta leather, which is uses plants in its raw materials, and Bird Electron described it by saying "since it uses natural materials, without damaging that original leather feel, it still looks good."

The cases use a flap that opens and closes, and on the inside of the case, the screen and wheel operations, as well as dock connector, can be used without removing the iPod.
