First England, now Hong Kong.
While Hong Kong is relatively close to Japan, this still constitutes an "international" call using video phone. And it's certainly not cheap.

NTT DoCoMo has presented that beginning February 6th, FOMA units will be able to transmit TV phone signals to Hong Kong's Hutchinson 3G HK users.

Users of FOMA terminals can now transmit international phone calls to Hutchinson 3G HK users. This is a continuation of DoCoMo's cooperation with Hutchinson 3G; they introduced the same sort of services with England back in October of 2003. To use the international phone call service, FOMA users simply take advantage of the "World Call" service jointly offered by both companies. only those phones with video phone functions can use them. Also, not just international phone calls, but international 64kbps data transmission has become possible.

In order to call Hong Kong, one needs only enter "009130-010-852-xxxxxxxx." The cost is 44 yen per 10 seconds, or 792 yen/3 minutes, and this service is excluded from free minutes or FOMA discounting.
