USB Flash Memory products rival MP3 players in terms of sheer quantity and this week is no exception. Hagiwara Systems has come to the party with their "AUto-run USB Flash Memory" range that come pre-loaded with useful software.

Hagiwara Systems will release their "Auto-run USB Flash Memory" range that comes with pre-loaded software in 2 models on 30 March. The new products will have no recommended retail price but are expected to sell for approximately 5000 yen (US$50).

The USB flash memory products have a capacity of 256MB and support Windows 200/XP.

The "UD-Internet" USB flash memory comes pre-loaded with "Mozilla Firefox" web browser, "Mozilla Thunderbird" mail client and "Removable Lock" password lock software. Launcher software automatically loads when the memory stick is connected to a PC, allowing the user to select the program they wish to use.

User data such as browser history, bookmarks and mail folders can also be stored on the USB flash memory and password-protected with the "Removable Lock" software.

The "UD-Security" USB flash memory comes pre-loaded with "Perfect Erase UD" file erase software, "PC-Lock" computer lock software and "Removable Lock" password lock software. As with the "UD-Internet", launcher software allows the user to launch their desired application.

The USB flash memory products are W17 x D71.5 x H10 mm in size and weigh 8.5 grams.
