When are people going to learn to not put their phones in their shirt pockets?

Victim:
Momonga of Hokkaido

Scene of Accident:
Zoo Street in Asahikawa, Hokkaido

Broken Item:
NTT DoCoMo F504i

Details of Accident:
In the morning, I thought I was going to be late, so I was running across the pedestrian crossing to the bus stop. I thought I would look at the time after I got there, but whoops, my phone isn't where it normally is (breast pocket). I thought, "you're kidding me" as I turned around. Lo and behold, there lie what you see here in the pedestrian crossing. Indeed, cars are powerful...

Damage Amount:
I changed to this phone three years ago for 25,000 yen. I'm changing to an F900iC now for 15,000 yen.

More from the Contributor:
Well, the best place for a phone is in a jeans' pocket. Too bad, because I had made it this far without a camera. At first, it powered on, but then turned off again after about 5 minutes. It can recharge too, but doesn't operate. This gives me a good excuse to change to a new FOMA handset, have a fingerprint sensor, "Wallet Phone," and all that good stuff.
