Those of you interested in projectors will be pleased to know that Plus Vision Corporation will begin selling a limited edition version of their "V-1100Z" model, aptly named "V-1100Z Limited."
On January 20th (a.k.a. TODAY), Plus Vision Corporation will begin selling a limited edition version of their hella-small "V-1100Z" DLP projector, to be called the "V-1100Z Limited." It should cost around 250,000 yen, and only 3000 units will be produced. There are two color variations: metallic red and white.
When compared with the original "V-1100Z" model, the limited edition varies in only two areas: they have refined the color wheel meaning better color reproduction, but have decreased the brightness to 800lm from the original 1,000lm, because "to designers, color reproduction is more important than brightness."
Also, in comes with a component-D-Sub 15 pin convertor cable, meaning home users could also want one.
The rest of the specifications are the same as the V-1100Z, such as the contrast ratio of 2,000:1, the 120W mercury light source, the 1024x768 DLP 0.7" screen, and an optical zoom of 1.2x.
The input ports are DVI-I(Component multi-use), and 4 minijacks (component, S-Video, Composite). It features a function to correct the alignment of the pedastal, and picture-in-picture. The external dimensions are 180 x 165 x 45mm (W x D x H) and it weighs 1.1kg. A card-shape remote is included.
