Don't ask me how they managed to name the computer "Prius" without taking any flak from Toyota. There are two models, actually - the "Prius Deck" and "Prius Air."

Hitachi Corporation will release 7 new models in two different "Prius" series ("Prius Deck" and "Prius Air") with AV capabilites and built-in LCD displays from January 24th. They are all Open Price.
"Prius Air 630H/610H" with SXGA display
There are 3 different models in this space-saving series: two 630H types, and one 610H type. They all include 1,280x1,024 pixel SXGA displays.
On the upper level "30H127WVC3" model, it has a 2.5GHz Celeron, Hardware MPEG2 Encoder/TV Tuner, and the same WXGA display as on the Prius Deck. It will go on sale January 29th for around 210,000 yen.
The lower end model, the "610H17SVC3" has a 2.40GHz Celeron and TV tuner. It includes a 17 inch SXGA panel. It will go on sale January 24th for around 170,000 yen.
Other common features include the Intel 845GV Chipset (for video capabilities), 256MB or memory (PC2700, Max 1GB), 120GB HDD, a max 4x DVD Multi-drive, and Windows XP Home Edition.
The interfaces featured are USB 2.0 x 6, IEEE 1394 (4 pin) x 2, SD Card Slot, Memory Card Slot, Ethernet, V.90 Modem, Type2 PC Card Slot x 2, and S/PDIF output.
The main body size is 92 x 375 x 333mm (W x D x H) and it weighs 7.9-9kg.
Direct DVD Recording from TV capable "Prius Deck 770H"
There are 4 models in the high end "Prius Deck 770H" series. Apart from the direct writing to DVD-RAM (except for 770H20TVH2) or DVD+RW (770H17TVH3 and 770H17WVH3 only) from a TV source, the LCDs on lower end models have been improved.
The upper level model "770H20TVH2" includes a HT supporting Pentium 5 at 3.20 GHz, 512MB of PC2700 RAM (max 1GB), 250GB HDD, max 4x DVD Super Multi Drive, and a GeForce FX Go5200 (64MB).
The chipset is Intel 865PE, and OS Windows XP Media Center Edition 2004. It will be release on January 24th for a price of about 420,000 yen. The screen is a 1,280 x 768 pixel WXGA supporting 20" Widescreen TV "Wooo."
The lower end "770H17WVP3" model has a Pentium 4 2.80GHz (FSB 533mHz), 256MB of PC2700 RAM (max 1GB), 160GB HDD, and a max 4x DVD Multi Drive.
With an Intel 845GV chipset, video functions are included. The OS is Windows XP Home Edition. It also has the increased response time "Super Viewer Color" WXGA 17" screen from earlier models. This one will be released January 24th for around 240,000 yen.
Other features common to all models include 3D Y/C separtation, and a ghost reducing (except 770H17WVP3) hardware MPEG2 encoder with TV tuner.
The interfaces are USB 2.0 x 6, IEEE 1394 (4 pin) x 2, SD Card Slot, Memory Card Slot, Ethernet, V.90 Modem, Type2 PC Card Slot x 2, and a S/PDIF output.
The main body is 105 x 364 x 372 (W x D x H) and weighs 8.6-8.8kg. All models include a remote.
