In a refreshing departure from the traditional "finger-shaped" USB memory devices, here's a "card-shaped" USB memory device from Green House.

It's only 4mm thick -- that's 0.15 inches! THIN. Available in 128MB, 256MB, and 512MB capacities. You can also customize the crap out of them thanks to Green House's "Name Service" -- this includes custom messages, designs, and even custom body colors.

Green House Corporation will release the "Pico Card" business-card sized USB 2.0 flash memory devices in early February. They are listed at Open Price, with the estimated retail price of the 128MB model at 2,880 yen, the 256MB model at 4,480 yen, and the 512MB model at 7,580 yen.

Supported operating systems are Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, and XP, as well as Mac OS 9.0 ~ 9.2.2, and Mac OS X 10.1 ~ 10.3.

This is USB flash memory that is small enough and thin enough to fit inside of a business card case. It can be connected to a USB port for use by extending the connector that is stored inside of the device itself. Normal models will be available in both black and silver body colorings. Also available is the "Name Service," allowing printing of company/school name, or even customization of the body's color and design.

The current consumption is under 135mA. The body size is 85.4 x 53.8 x 4.2mm (W x D x H), and it weighs roughly 20g.
