What's aluminium, has a 2.2GB capacity, and is smaller than a pad of Post-It notes? Logitec's new USB 2.0 hard drive.

Logitec Corporation will release the "LHD-PBM2GU2" external hard drive, which uses a 1" hard drive, in late January. The price is 18,690 yen.

Supported operating systems are Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP, as well as Mac OS 9.0.4~9.2.2, or Mac OS X 10.0.4 ~ 10.3.7.

The portable hard drive's body size is 50.8 x 50 x 10.5mm (W x D x H), and weight is 35g. It uses a 2400rpm 1" hard drive. The capacity is 2.2GB. The interface is USB 2.0, and it supports operation from bus power.

Its body is made of aluminium. Included is a pocketable carrying case, USB cable, and neck strap.
