Details of Accident:
On a rainy day, just like any other, I noticed that my phone was missing while in my car o­n my way to work. "Shit! I forgot it at home!" I thought, but since I was running late, I just went went o­n ahead to work without it.

When I got home past 9 PM or so, my phone wasn't there either. Why? I searched about the entirety of my house, but still couldn't find it.

The next day, when I went to the parking lot to go to work, I discovered some squashed, bluish plastic! The display was also completely hosed, because of the gravel spread out in the parking lot. Damn, and this was my N503i that accompanied me for so many years...

Damage Amount:
Changing to a FOMA contract costed 12,000 yen (including office handling charges)

Earlier, I had changed phones (version up) from the N503i to the F504iS. But, after a month, I dropped the ***** in a toilet. I then returned to the N503i, and intended to not change phones again until the thing broke. Because the phone was completely broken, I helplessly changed to a FOMA contract.

Though the damages were over 10,000 yen, I'm just going to take this as though I shelled out 10,000 for a digital camera. The N503i is a total loss. It wouldn't even power up, and the memory and such was completely gone.

It's a shame, too, because it was my N503i...there aren't many people these days using phones without cameras (or displays o­n the back).
