Running out of space for your valuable porn collection business documents? IO Data has the answer for you - a 1.6TB external HDD in a package measuring only 136 x 266 x 131 mm. Too bad it costs so much.
IO Data will begin sales of a 1.6TB external HDD, the "HDZ-UE1.6TS", from late December.
The "HDZ-UE1.6TS" will be made to order at a price of 294,000 yen. Supported operating systems are Windows Me, 2000 and XP. The drive contains four 400GB Maxtor HDDs which are recognised as a single drive. Support interfaces are USB2.0 and IEEE1394.
The drive's power on/off can be connected to a PC's power supply for linked operation. The drive casing uses aluminium panels and a cooling fan is also installed.
The drive has dimensions of W136 x D266 x H131 mm and weighs approximately 4.4 kilograms. A USB cable (1m) and IEEE1394 cable (1m) are included.
"EasySaver LE" automatic backup software and "Disk Refresher LE" data erasure software is supplied with the drive.
