Those of you with a large number of components but not too many inputs on your home theater setup likely already have an AV selector.
Anyway, here's 4 new ones from Sony. Some are active, some passive, some feature optical digital audio, some don't. Also, they're splitters, so you can pipe your output to multiple devices at the same time.
Sony released 4 models of AV selector on November 21st. Besides the SB-V60S, they are active types which prevent the deterioration of signals during division, and can output a single signal to a maximum of 3 devices.
| Type | Supported Signal | Product Number | Price |
| Active | Optical Digital Audio | SB-RX100P | 19,950 yen |
| S-Video / Composite / Analog Audio | SB-RX200S | ||
| D Port / Analog Audio | SB-RX300D | 19,950 yen | |
| Passive | S-Video / Composite / Analog Audio | SB-V60S | 9,765 yen |
-SB-RX100P / RX200S / RX300D
Each of the models contains the "Multi Output Function" allowing for the simultaneous output of a single signal to a maximum of three components. Furthermore, they feature the "Parallel Output Function" to output two signals to two devices.
| Model Number | Supported Signal | Input | Output |
| SB-RX100P | Optical Digital Audio | 4 ports | 3 ports |
| SB-RX200S | S-Video / Composite / Analog Audio | 5 ports, 4 inputs (one switches to front and back) | 3 ports |
| SB-RX300D | D Port / Analog Audio | 4 ports | 3 ports |
The products have "Loop Protection Technology" to prevent against loop situations. Inputs and outputs can be switched with buttons on the front, but can also be operated using the included remote controller. The inputs and outputs can be confirmed with indicators. Power is supplied from an included AC adapter.
Also, the system can be configured so that it is 16 total inputs, when combined with the other two models. For example, the SB-RX200S and be combined with the SB-RX300D and SB-RX100P. The case sizing and weight is also the same, with external dimensions of 215 x 180 x 70mm (W x D x H), at 1.5kg. Stickers for connected components are also included.

-SB-V60S
This is a passive-type AV selector. It uses a slimline case type with a thickness of 42mm. It can switch between S-Video, Composite, and Analog Audio signals, and has 5 input jacks for 4 inputs (one switches between back and front), and has two output jacks. It can output a single signal to two outputs simultaneously. However, it does not feature the "Multi Output Function" or "Parallel Output Function" as on the RX series.
The external dimensions are 430 x 231 x 42mm (W x D x H), and it weighs about 2kg.
