In a word, this guy obliterated his MiniDisc player.

Victim:
Meri of Kanagawa Prefecture
Scene of Accident:
On the road while going to school
Broken Item:
Kenwood DMC-M33
Details of Accident:
On the way to school one day, it looked like I was about to be late for this test, so I was riding my bike down a hill like a bat out of hell. I passed this dude who was in front of me, and right then went up on the sidewalk -- the force caused my bag to go flying from my bicycle's basket. And it went right into the road...I stopped my bike as soon as I realized the bag was making this unexpected action, but it was already too late. A blue-metallic covered car ran it over with its right front tire, and it was magnificently destroyed.
Damage Amount:
I took this from my sister's room without her permission, so if she finds out...
More from the Contributor:
In my bag, I had a copy of "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" that I had borrowed from my friend, and this is what all I could think about at first. When I picked up my bag at first, the MD's battery fell out, and I was like, "WTF?" "The battery must have come out of the player somehow," I thought, and when I went back to where my bike was, I the next parts to come out were the battery cover and fragments of the broken main unit.
Since it would have sucked to be late for the test, I went to school and took a look inside my bag -- the main unit looked like a white and green sandwich inside of my bag. But both my friend and I were surpised that "JoJo" had escaped unscathed.
In actuality, that day, the TV fortune telling segment said "Aries is ranked 9 today. You will regret challenging something new, so don't force yourself -- just get through safely." It must have been bad that I went to school a different way because I was short on time. I thought maybe I should heed the advice of the TV fortune telling from now on.
