Buffalo has released a flurry of new mice - a total of 21 new products in 5 series. The mice range in price and features from 6-button programmable wireless optical mice right down to simple wired 2-button ball mice. Plenty of colours available to satisfy everyone - including a special "light gray" for the office suits.
Buffalo will begin sales of 21 new products and 5 series of pointing devices from mid November.

The "BOMC-W6" series is an optical wireless mouse with an ergonomic design and six programmable function buttons that will go on sale from late November priced at 5990 yen. An LED in the receiver indicates remaining battery life and flashes red when it drops below 40%. The bottom surface of the mouse is fitted with a power button to minimise power waste.
Three colours are available - "Clear Red", "Deep Blue" and "Silver". The standard interface is USB but a PS/2 interface is also possible if the included adapter is used. Resolution is 800 dpi. Two AA batteries provide power.
The mouse is W68 x D128 x H42 mm in size and weighs approximately 100 grams. The receiver is W72 x D71 x H17 mm and weighs approximately 50 grams.

The six body colours are "Clear Red", "Hard Orange", "Deep Blue", "Silver", "Black" and "White".
The interface is USB. Resolution is 800 dpi and power is supplied by two AA batteries. The mouse is W54 x D90 x H33 mm in size and weighs approx. 83 grams. The receiver is W21 x D68 x H14 mm in size and weighs approx. 14 grams.
