EK Japan make a wide range of kits for those with an interest in electronics, robotics and audio technology. The upgraded "TU-873LE" stereo power amp is available in a limited edition run of 500 units at only 83,790 yen. Get them while you still can!

EK Japan will begin sales from early December of the "TU-873LE" stereo power amp, a new Elekit vacuum tube amp kit that uses 300B vacuum tubes. Only 500 will be available for purchase at a price of 83,790 yen.
Based on the 300B-driven TU-873 and TU-8730 amp kits from the same company, the new model produces high sound quality courtesy of an original transformer with an Orient core that has superior magnetic saturation characteristics.
In addition to using a polypropylene film condenser for the coupling condenser, low-impedance electrolytic condensers are used for all vacuum tube cathode resistor bypass condensers. This improves high-end sound quality.
Large speaker terminals are used, providing support for thicker speaker cords. The AC cord is also thicker than previous models and can now be exchanged due to inclusion of an AC inlet. A mirror panel is used on the front face of the amp. A blue LED indicates power on.
Two 300B and two 6SN7GT vacuum tubes are used. Rated output is 8W x 2ch. Frequency response is 10Hz~70kHz. Three analog sound terminals provide input. Output is analog sound terminal x 1. External dimensions are 220 x 425 x 195 mm (WxDxH) and weight is 10.1 kg.
