Hey, this would go well with a 20 megapixel camera!
Buffalo Corporation will release Microdrives with 2GB and 4GB capacities during January. The price for the 4GB "RMD-4G" model will be 85,800 yen, and the 2GB "RMD-2G" model will be 43,000 yen.

Hitachi Global Storage Technologies originally announced a 4GB Microdrive back in August, and planned to start shipments in November. A Microdrive is a hard drive that is the size of a CF Type 2 card. Hitachi had announced in August that the 4GB model would cost around 50,000 yen, but the price is clearly more than thought.
For the 4GB model, it is necessary for the machine-side to support FAT32. It cannot be used on old-type digital cameras and other equipment supporting only FAT16.
