I can't say I'm floored by their features, but these are intended for the Mova network (rather than FOMA), so whatever.
The lineup includes:
-Mitsubishi's D253i
-NEC's N253i
-Panasonic's P253i
Plenty of information and pictures inside.
-D53i
The "D253i" is a Mitsubishi-made phone that uses a "3WAY STYLE" slide mechanism. Although the "NM207" phone in DoCoMo's past did feature a slide mechanism, only one part would slide - this "D253i" represents the first phone for DoCoMo where the whole body slides.
On the reverse of the display body lies a 0.32MP (0.31 recorded) CCD camera. By sliding the body only slightly, and exposing the camera, the camera function will automatically launch. Features related to the slide mechanism, other than the automatic camera starting, include answering calls by opening, ending them by closing, and automatically moving to the "reply" screen when opening for new mails. Another feature is one that will automatically turn off accidental slide protection when the phone is opened for any of the above purposes.
For the 0.32MP camera, it can record stills at a maximum of VGA (640 x 480) resolution, as well as record movies. The "Doremo iShot" function will automatically resize images as either "iShot S Size" or "iShot L Size" regardless of what resolution they were recorded at, when sending them as mail attachments. A "Movie iShot" function provides users with the ability to capture certain still images from movies they have recorded and sent them as iShot emails. Another feature that can be used is the "Voice Shutter" that will take a picture when a certain word is said.
Other features include the usage of ATOK as a Japanese conversion engine. The "Simple Menu" function will display frequently used menu items in a large font size.
The main display is a 2", 176 x 240 dot, 262,144 color TFD LCD. The continuous idle time is 520 hours, and the continuous talk time is 135 minutes. The size of the phone is 96 x 47 x 24mm (H x W x T), and the weight is 96. Three body colors will be available: "azzurro," "rosso," and "aurino." The color nicknames are Italian for "blue," "red," and "gold," respectively.

-N253i
NEC's iShot "N253i" phone uses a round form. An "arrival lamp" is featured on the bottom part of the reverse of the display, and it shines "like a jewel." When a call is incoming, the operational keys will also glow with the arrival lamp. Also, this phone furnishes the "Toy Pooh" function that allows for the display of the popular Disney character on various menus.
As a Japanese input system, this phone uses the "T9 Direct" system which allows for input of Kanji with less keypresses, and it will also keep a record of inputs - this is used in the "simple emoticon input" function that allows for the simple selection of frequently used emoticons.
As the main display is a 1.9", 160 x 216 dot, 65,536 color TFT LCD, when compared with the previous "N252iS," this is a higher resolution in the same display size. Also, it features a 0.8", 66 x 88 dot, 4,096 color STN display.
On the reverse of the display, towards the top, lies a 0.31MP CMOS camera. It can use "Pict Magic" which will automatically adjust for skin tones, brightness, and white balance. After the picture is taken, manual adjustments such as light correction and color adjustments can also be done. The "frame change" function allows for choosing a particular image frame while viewing the picture subject as well.
The continuous idle time of this phone is 440 hours, and it has a continuous talk time of 120 minutes. The size is 91 x 49 x 26mm (H x W x T), and it has a weight of 95g. Four body colors will be available: Bouquet Pink, Sugar White, Air Blue, and Ice Silver.

-P253i
The "P253i" is an iShot phone from Panasonic Mobile Communications that includes a one-push open button. The outsides may look like the previous "P252iS" model, but the coloring scheme has been changed to resemble pottery, and it gives a stylish impression that would also be suitable for the business scene.
The most prominent characteristic of the externals of the phone is its handle-like antenna. Though the shape of this antenna is much the same as it was on the "P252iS," this time it adds the ability to glow a certain color depending on incoming calls and emoticon contents of incoming mails - it has thus been dubbed the "glow antenna." The luminescent parts are contained not in the antenna but the body itself. It is arranged in such a manner that light will pass through the prism-like panels of the antenna body, creating a prismatic effect.
As a unique function on the software end, this phone features the new "Partner Function." As its name implies, when looking at the contact information of a friend stored in the address book, certain tabs will show in the menu: "list," "address," and "history." Using the left and right keys, mail that came from that friend can be displayed in a list. Or, images and mail can be listed in chronological order. This function also provides the ability to check a schedule against contacts from a friend, and arrange data inside the phone based on data from friends.
Also included is the "Usage Navigator" as was included on the "P505iS" and "P506iC." Methods of using the "P253i" features can be searched by keyword.
The main display is a 1.9", 132 x 176 dot, 65,536 color TFT LCD. The subdisplay is a 1.1", 96 x 64 dot, 65,536 color TFT LCD. In features a 0.31MP CMOS camera and miniSD slot.
The continuous idle time is 400 hours, and the continuous talk time is 125 minutes. The size of the phone is 90 x 46 x 22mm (H x W x T), and it has a weight of 93g. Five body colors will be available: Pure White, Pure Blue, Pure Black, Pure Pink, and Pure Yellow.
