This week's THE CRASH features some poor bastard who dropped his brand spankin' new PowerBook G4 within 12 hours of purchasing it. Sucks.

Scene of Accident:
At my part time job

Broken Item:
Apple Computer PowerBook G4

Details of Accident:
12 hours after buying it at the Apple Store, the bag I had the PowerBook in was supposed to be o­n a shelf, but somehow ended up o­n the floor....I was suprised, and when I checked it, the inside of the computer could be seen due to the bending of the base of the chassis being bent.

Damage Amount:
I just sent it in for repairs, so I don't know yet.

Well, I had meant to be get two hard cases for this thing, but even before the end of o­ne day... It would suck if they can't get it repaired by the time I have to do my presentation for class (oh shit). I was happy to learn that besides the bending of the case, there was no other damage. It would be nice if the warranty would cover this.
