I can't say I've ever seen a monitor need an AC adapter (well an external one) to run, but whatever.
Hell, I guess they don't call their company "Green House" for nothin'.
Green House Corporation will release 15" LCDs in the middle of August that curb power consumption.
An ivory colored "GH-ACG153SV" and black "GH-ACG153SB" will be available, each for around 41,800 yen.
These are LCDs that have a maximum power consumption of 25W, and can go into a less than 2W conservation mode. The major specifications include a 1024 x 768 resolution (XGA), 16,190,000 color display, a brightness of 250cd/m2, and a response time of 25ms. The vertical viewing angle is 140 degrees, and the horizontal 125 degrees.
Its interface is mini D-Sub 15 pin. Internal stereo speakers are also featured at 1W + 1W. Also supported is a 100mm pitch VESA mount.
The main body size is 344.6 x 160 x 346.5mm (W x D x H), and it weighs 3kg. A D-Sub 15 pin cable, power cable, and audio cable are included.
