On a serious note, this phone packs a punch. It supports Compact HTML, POP3/SMTP (so you can use your real email from it), has a USB port, supports PBX (for work), and has a whopping 6.5 hour talk time.

Japan Wireless will release the "AH-J3003S," a new straight-type designed phone intended for use with DDI Pocket's AirH" PHONE, o­n July 15th.

The "AH-J3003S" is a new AirH" PHONE with a bar-type design. It has a 1.8", 128 x 160 dot, 65,536 color STN LCD. In addition to being loaded with ACCESS's web Compact HTML supporting web browser, "Compact NetFront," the phone supports POP3 and SMTP, and can use up to 3 accounts typically aimed at PC users. The phone has an internal "diversity" antenna, and is equipped with a USB port (Mini-B type). Also, as a function intended for business use, the phone can be registered o­n the PBX and used as an extension-type phone. Furthermore, it supports international roaming to Taiwan, Thailand, etc.

The size is 44 x 129 x 16.5mm, and the weight is 79g. Continuous talk time is 6.5 hours, and the continuous idle time is 500 hours. Data transfer is either 32kbps packet transfer, PIAFS 32/64kbps circuit exchange system, or flexchange system. Two colors are available: "Ofcity Black" and "Polar Silver." It will be o­n sale at DDI Pocket shops.
