The main difference between this and the previous "Be Silent" models is the usage of a Pentium M mobo.

E-lets Corporation has begun accepting orders for the small and quiet "Be Silent M7000" PC. Shipments are scheduled to begin in the back part of July.

The difference between this and previous series is the usage of a Pentium M/Celeron M supporting motherboard. By using a low power consumption CPU and low rotation fan, the PC is quiet.

Its price is Open Price. The direct sale price of the barebone kit (with no CPU, memory, HD) is 71,400 yen, and a model including a Celeron M 320 (1.30GHz) is 113,400 yen, and a model including a Pentium M 735 (1.70GHz) is 176,400 yen. Furthermore, Windows XP Professional is installed only on the Pentium M model - others come with no OS.

The chipset is an Intel 855GME, with integrated graphics. Memory is a 184 pin DIMM x 1, and the HD is a 2.5" x 2. It does not feature an optical drive.

Interfaces are plenty - Type2 PC card slot x 1, USB 2.0 x 2, PS/2 x 2, and Gigabit Ethernet. In addition to the internal IDE hard drives, the unit also features a 40-pin "emergency" IDE that can be pulled out to attach optical drives and such externally. The size of the unit is 204 x 63 x 197mm (W x D x H).
