It costs a lot of money, but it's really small too.
This thing is 76 x 106 x 12.5mm (W x H x D)! In other words, it's roughly the size of a wallet with nothing in it.

Icomes Lab has developed the "primpact," a printer aimed at use with cellular phones that has a mere 12mm thickness. Limited sale of 100 units will begin in the back part of June, primarily aimed at corporations perhaps interested in selling the same product themselves. The price is 98,000 yen.

The printer it a compact mobile printer with a 12.5mm thickness, and was developed with the same technology the company uses to make their IT machinery reduction gear. Mails from a phone can be printed out, and it can also print text when connected to a computer. Supported phones are the P505i/iS, and the N505i/iS. Furthermore, it does not support the printing of images. A cable for connecting to a cellular phone is stored under the cover on the lower section, and a special cable for connecting to a PC is included.

Using heat-sensetive line thermal printing, it can print 384 dots per line, with a resolution of 200lpi (line per inch). It can print up to a 48mm width, and heat-sensetive paper is inserted by hand. The printing speed is every 4.5mm. Power can come from either 3x AAAA alkalines, or 3x AAAA NiMH batteries, and when using Alkalines, it can print up to 40 sheets of business card size paper; when using NiMH, it can print up to 80 sheets of the same size. The size of the printer is 76 x 106 x 12.5mm (W x D x H), and including the batteries it weighs 108g.
