I can't say I didn't see this coming, but Adtec will release waterproof miniSD cards.
They just announced waterproof SD cards the other day, so...yeah.
They're also going to release a 10-in-1 media reader supporting USB 2.0.

Adtec Corporation will release the waterproof "AD-MSDP" series of miniSD memory cards in the back part of April. All of the products are listed as Open Price.

Four sizes are available - 32, 64, 128, and 256MB cards, and the respective estimated prices are 2,700 yen, 5,100 yen, 7,800 yen, and 15,000 yen.

The cards support high speed data transfer, and have a 6MB/sec transfer speed, which is three times what previous models had. The waterproof function is based o­n conforming to JIS waterproof protection levels 6 and 7.

The "AD-MCR/20C" card reader supporting USB 2.0 will be released o­n April 26th. Althought it is officially listed as Open Price, indicators suggest it should cost around 27,000 yen. Supported operating systems are Windows ME, 2000, XP, Mac OS 9.0.4 - 9.2.2, and Mac OS X 10.1.2 - 10.3.2.

Equipped with four slots, the card reader supports the following 10 media formats: SmartMedia, SD Memory Card, miniSD Card, MMC, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo, CompactFlash, and Microdrive. Some cards require adapters.

The main body size is 87 x 51.5 x 14.7mm (W x D x H), and the weight is 50g. A 70cm extension cable is included.
