Sony will release the "Cybershot DSC-T11," a thin digital camera with a 2.5" LCD, on April 29th. While it's officially listed as Open Price, indicators suggest it should cost around 58,000 yen.
The main feature of this camera is its size - 102.5 x 17.3 x 60mm (W x D x H), and it weighs 186g. The available body color is Pearl White, and the design is targetted at women in their late 20s to 30s.
On the reverse of the camera is a large, 2.5" LCD monitor with a resolution of 211,000 pixels.
A 1/2.4 inch Super HAD CCD (Primary color filter) with an effective resolution of 5.1MP is used. With utilization of the unique "Real Image Processor" image processing system, low-noise images with faithful color reproduction can be processes quickly.

The Cybershot "DSC-P100," a camera with a round, stick-style body will go on sale April 29th. It's officially listed as Open Price, but indicators suggest it should cost around 53,000 yen.
The body size is 108 x 26.6 x 51.5mm, meaning it is 8mm thinner than the DSC-P8/P10. The weight is 183g. The three available body colors are silver, blue, and red.
When compared with the DSC-P10, this camera has both a lower power consumption and a higher capacity battery, allowing it to have roughly twice the battery life - based on the CIPA standard, 360 pictures can be taken.
Other features are essentially the same as the DSC-W1, such as the 1/1.8 inch Super HAD CCD (Primary color filter) with an effective resolution of 5.1MP. It has a startup time of 1.3 seconds.
