Solid Alliance Limited, makers of the world famous iDuck flash memory shaped like a rubber ducky, now offers another product: the world's smallest 512MB USB memory device.

Solid Alliance Limited will release the "iDiskTINY USB2.0 Luxury," a 512MB, USB 2.0 supporting flash memory device from America's Pretec, on the 7th. The price is 24,490 yen. Supported OSes are Windows 98 and above, Mac OS 9.2 and above, and Linux 2.4 and above.

This 512MB model is even smaller than the 128/256MB models from the same company. While 128/256MB models had dimensions of 18 x 46 x 9mm (W x D x H) with the cover closed, this 512MB is 18 x 40 x 9mm (W x D x H) with the cover closed.

The connector and case have been unified, and the cover rotates to reveal a USB connector for inserting into a PC. A blue LED light on the body will light up while the device is connected.

A keychain and necklace chain come standard in the package.
